John is a Chartered Building Services Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in leading the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) design across a wide range of sectors, including heritage, cultural, commercial, education, and life sciences.
As Director, he leads the London MEP team while also driving national alignment of standards, tools, and technical delivery across Pick Everard’s offices.
John has a strong track record of managing complex projects in live and sensitive environments. His technical leadership is underpinned by a background in engineering, commissioning, and manufacturing, enabling him to navigate critical infrastructure challenges with precision. He has worked on many iconic buildings in the UK and internationally, including the Barbican Arts Centre, the Imperial War Museum, and the Sydney Opera House.
He is passionate about engineering excellence, clear communication, and building high-performing, collaborative teams.
