ISO Accreditations

The Pick Everard team undertook a desktop review to provide a gap analysis which identified areas for improvement. Our approach included briefing sessions for all to inform them of the objectives and benefits in developing governance and obtaining third party certification; workshops and observations to map the process before developing the procedures; and then audit and collation of PI data to ensure compliance.  

The key objectives were:

• Development of a Quality Business Management System (QBMS) to meet the requirements of ISO 9001, 41001 and 44001
• Achieve third party certification to ISO 9001, 41001 and 44001
• Develop an audit schedule
• Develop a performance management framework
• Develop and engage LBTH colleagues and ensure they are empowered and educated in systems and ISO’s and the importance of them
• Identify opportunities for agile working and best practice

Additionally, focus workshops were held with various teams to enable process mapping of their work activities, ensuring compliance to the International Standard for Quality Management (ISO9001). Our team worked with the client across all their stakeholder groups, collaboratively developing the requisite frameworks, policies and procedures; as well as the communication and training strategy.

The client successfully achieved third-party certification of ISO9001 in December 2017, becoming one of few local authorities to hold this prestigious accreditation. They were successful in their first surveillance audit with no areas for improvement identified. Furthermore, the client successfully achieved third-party certification of ISO41001 in June 2019. LBTH are seeking third party certification for ISO 44001 with stage 1 audit planned for the end of September 2020. We received a 100% customer satisfaction score from the client.
