The value of volunteering

Last week we had a fantastic day volunteering at the Emmanuel House Support Centre’s allotment, which provides wellbeing support for people who are homeless or vulnerably housed in Nottingham.

The project enables people to participate in gardening sessions, outdoor activities, and work on the allotment. It’s fantastic to be able to get involved in projects such as this to help provide people with support to improve their mental and physical wellbeing, as well as developing skills and experience.

Well done to all the team and the Emmanuel House Support Centre, whose work is incredibly important to Nottingham.
