What does this mean for Pick Everard’s staff, clients, and projects/operations?
Clients will continue to receive the high-quality service they have come to expect, with additional access to Artelia’s global expertise and wider range of portfolio services. Pick Everard will continue trading unchanged and uninterrupted as a partnership, and the business will continue to be operated as before.
This significant strategic next step in Pick Everard’s history simply solidifies our position and enhances our offering to clients and staff alike. Artelia Group has more than 9,000 employees worldwide – rising to almost 10,000 with the addition of Pick Everard. It holds a position in the top 10 consulting engineering firms in Europe and has carried out projects in more than 100 countries internationally.
Joining the Artelia Group provides access to greater resources, an international network of expertise, and the ability to offer an even broader range of high-quality services to our clients. Together, we aim to deliver enhanced, innovative, and sustainable solutions across a wider range of sectors and geographies, and foster growth in both firms.
Day-to-day there will be no significant change, and the move works to open more opportunities than ever before for staff and clients, with a business that has shared core values to deliver better together.
What does this mean for existing client contracts?
Pick Everard will continue to trade unchanged and uninterrupted as a partnership, meaning there will be no changes required to client contracts, and our teams will continue to deliver services as per existing delivery, contractual and commercial arrangements.
Our appointments to the UK’s leading frameworks are unaffected, meaning that any contracts procured through these efficient, effective routes to market will not be impacted by Pick Everard joining Artelia.
Perfect Circle, to which Pick Everard is a founding member, will continue its appointment to SCAPE’s Consultancy and Utilities frameworks. This will continue to provide clients with the ability to effectively engage our teams in the delivery of their projects.
Will this mean the team delivering services on my project changes?
Our client account and delivery teams will be unaffected by Pick Everard joining Artelia. Our delivery of services to clients will continue to be completely uninterrupted, enabling us to support the timely delivery of projects and programmes.
Over time, through collaboration with the wider Artelia group, we’ll seek opportunities to engage with colleagues both in the UK and around the globe, to further enhance our ability to deliver outstanding solutions to our clients.
Will this change Pick Everard’s approach to delivery?
Our services will continue to be delivered in line with our established, accredited and proven processes and procedures. Through our alignment to industry best practice, and commitment to delivering to the highest standards, we will continue to offer the same trusted services and solutions.

We continue to be committed to working in partnership with trusted members of our approved supply chain. Collaboration remains an integral part of our approach, and we recognise the value added to our clients and projects by working with expert supply partners across the UK.
Existing supply chain appointments will remain in place, and all approved members of our supply chain will continue to be able to work with Pick Everard as they have done before. This includes agreed commercial terms, with Pick Everard continuing to be signed up to the Fair Payment Code.

What does this mean for the Artelia Group?
Artelia is committed to becoming one of the world leaders in construction engineering services, with strong European roots, while remaining mindful of what makes it different from the “mega firms” in terms of culture, including independence, entrepreneurial spirit, agility and people orientation.
The acquisition of Pick Everard is fully aligned to Artelia’s strategy of sustained and controlled growth. By joining forces with Pick Everard, Artelia is further strengthening our position on the European continent, and we spread our foothold and increase Group’s visibility in the UK where we already enjoy long-standing presence.
