Simply put, client is king. We must deliver what they need for the task at hand, but it comes down to more than just ‘doing the job’. We strive to do what is right for our clients, putting them and their requirements central to our actions to deliver value that goes way beyond project cost.

No matter what our appointment entails, our clients benefit from our multi-disciplinary nature where teams are able to provide guidance and extra consultancy on our full range of sector services, making sure that the client receives the best possible service we can provide.

This open attitude to knowledge sharing sees us delivering above and beyond again and again, not just providing services for clients but upskilling and informing them and their stakeholders on what they need to know to create a legacy of best practice.

Our key role as consultants is making sure that we are ahead of the curve and at the cutting-edge of the industry. As leaders in delivering government construction targets, we work hard with our clients to make sure all activities and actions work towards common goals and principles, including the Construction Playbook. While every project is unique and requires bespoke solutions, we make sure that our actions and processes are underpinned by industry standardisation processes that drive efficiencies.

Our open attitude goes beyond what we do, to how we do it. Examining every job in detail, we will come up with the bespoke solutions to benefit the client. A prime example of this is our work to relocate congenital heart services from Glenfield Hospital to Leicester Royal Infirmary.

Here, not only did we provide multi-disciplinary services, we also seconded one of our senior project managers to the client to oversee the effective delivery of the works full-time. We identified that having our expert embedded within the client’s team to drive coordination would be the most effective step for the task at hand, and, on completion of works, the client celebrated that this approach played a significant role in the smoothest delivery possible.

Equally, we understand the importance of choice for clients. This drives our ambitions to be a leader in supply chain management and SME engagement, ensuring that the projects we deliver provide clients with the high-quality assets to transform their communities.

We hold an excellent track record for appointments to the industry’s leading framework, including Scape, Pagabo, Crown Commercial Service, ESPO and NHS Shared Business Services. This means that we have many flexible and complaint routes to procure our services for public sector clients – giving them both the choice and consultancy on their procurement routes.

It is our client-centric attitude that has allowed us to form exceptionally strong, long-term and truly collaborative relationships with our clients, which go beyond working with them to becoming a true extension of their team.
