James Hymers
National Discipline Director
James is the National Discipline Director for Health & Safety and is passionate about making safety a key part of each and every project. James has accumulated a large array of experiences from many different sectors and brings these together along with his academic qualifications in engineering, as a chartered health and safety professional and training in lean principles to find solutions and risk based approach to our clients projects.
With a pragmatic and forward thinking approach, James is able to engage at all levels of an organisation to present the importance of risk based management of health and safety. James has been managing the discipline for over 8 years and has specialised in construction health and safety for the last 6 years, supporting with the duties of the principal designer and assisting clients with managing their projects. In this time he has supported masterplan schemes of up to £750m, assisted with £300m rail developments but equally values supporting clients with smaller schemes each with their own challenges to be addressed.
