To support Northamptonshire Police’s move towards a leaner service and a more efficient, centralised estate, we developed a clear strategy for achieving this within a short timeframe.

The Brief

Facing the problem of an ageing estate that is geographically dispersed and no longer supports 21st century policing, we were appointed to undertake a full review of current and future potential occupation needs.

The exercise incorporated estate mapping, initial design proposals with costings, and an innovative workplace strategy.

Our Response

By mapping both the estate and the workforce, we were able to identify better ways of working to protect frontline services and ensure resources will be invested in a prioritised and targeted way.

Our 5-10 year estate masterplan, incorporating maintenance and capital improvements, will maximise best value for the client from future capital investment.
