Led a multi-professional team to implement a phased approach accounting for site constraints and access requirements to successfully deliver a new build extension and refurbishment.
We were commissioned to lead the project management and building survey of the extension and refurbishment of the Faraday Building. As an active teaching and research environment, it was crucial that the project was completed with minimum disruption, both to the students and to sensitive laboratory equipment.
Collaborating closely with the Head of Chemistry and laboratory superintendents, we identified the key challenges on the project and implemented a carefully phased plan. Once work began, we provided the client with detailed and concise monthly reports, alerting them to any concerns using a Red, Amber, Green (RAG) system.
