Jose Hernandez
Director
Jose completed his Industrial Engineering degree at the University of Strathclyde. He joined Pick Everard in 2004 soon after completing his PhD in Building Physics at De Montfort University. Since then he has progressed from his initial graduate position to Director of Sustainability and Energy, having established and led the development of thermal modelling and energy and sustainability assessments in the practice.
He is highly experienced in a wide range of new build and refurbishment projects and assisted BRE in the development of BREEAM for Data Centres. Jose represents Pick Everard at several forums including the UK Green Building Council and the Soft Landings Users Group. His current areas of interest include Net Zero Carbon, the Climate Challenge, Post Occupancy Evaluations, Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards, Design for Performance, Soft Landings and the Well Building Standard.
