ALASTAIR HAMILTON BSc, MRICS
Partner

Alastair is a Chartered Quantity Surveying experienced in providing services as both Consultant Cost Manager and Project Manager.  With over 28 years experience, he has worked on a wide range of types of project for a variety of private and public sector clients, technical audit and project governance. 

Alastair provides strategic management and cost consultancy services on major contracts in the education, healthcare, defence, utilities, emergency services and commercial sectors.  He has a broad knowledge of procurement and contract arrangements including two stage tendering, incentivised target price and collaborative contracts such as NEC3 and PPC2000.  His experience also covers technical audits of projects, due diligence and project governance work which he has also practiced overseas.

He is fully conversant with project and cost management procedures including risk and value management, whole life costing and Investment Appraisals.

Alastair’s responsibilities also include developing business across Project Management, Cost Consultancy and Surveying services throughout the UK and overseas.
