Pick Everard is named Finalist in Business in the Community 2012 Wales Awards for Excellence
Pick Everard has been named a finalist in the Agile Organisation award category in the Business in the Community’s (BITC) 2012 Wales Awards for Excellence. The awards commend the best examples of Welsh business as a force for good.
Business in the Community’s Awards recognise the powerful and positive role that business is playing in local communities across Wales, by rewarding companies for the impact and innovation of their responsible business programmes across a number of categories. The awards are given to companies who demonstrate their leadership on the key social and environmental issues where business can make a difference at local, national and international levels.
David Brunton, managing partner at Pick Everard, commented: “We are delighted that our Agile Working programme has reached the finals in this year’s BITC Awards. This recognises the continued commitment we have to achieving a positive impact on society. We believe that in order to be a better business it is vital to behave responsibly and integrate a sustained approach to corporate responsibility into our business strategy.”
Simon Harris, Wales Director, Business in the Community said: “Our Awards for Excellence are all about celebrating responsible business and Pick Everard have demonstrated that they can have a positive impact on society and people, without losing focus on their business.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Cardiff on 21 June sponsored by Wales & West Utilities which will also celebrate BITC’s 30th Anniversary.
