Pick Everard appoints new project manager for Wales
and announces senior promotions in London, Nottingham and Bury St Edmunds
Pick Everard has appointed a new Project Manager, Stuart Brisbane with responsibility for business development in Wales and has promoted senior staff in London, Nottingham and Bury St Edmunds.
Stuart Brisbane has 28 years experience gained in both private and public sectors in education, health, residential, retail, commercial property, leisure, estate services and facilities management. He joins Pick Everard as Project Manager after working on delivery of the Construct Wales programme for the Welsh Assembly Government. Prior to this he led a team in Cardiff working on projects for Welsh Health Estates, Welsh Assembly Government and Neath Port Talbot Council. Stuart is also Chairman of the Board of Governors at Caedraw Primary School, a Governor at Cyfarthfa High School, supports the Merthyr Tydfil Association of School Governors and is a Trustee on the board of Merthyr & the Valleys Mind.
In the London & South East region, Allan Cowie is promoted to Director and John Sharp to Associate. Allan joined Pick Everard in 2009 and leads delivery of project management services to the practice's growing client base in education, healthcare, leisure and blue-light sectors. Chartered Architect John Sharp joined in 2007 and is an award winning architect, twice nominated for RIBA Presidents’ medals. He manages the delivery of design services in London and the South East. Both have contributed significantly to the firm’s expansion in the region. The London office provides project management and a full interdisciplinary design service, including quantity surveying and CDMC, operating within a number of regional and national frameworks including Government Procurement Service, IESE and Scape. Clients include Crown Estates, National Grid, the Metropolitan, Thames Valley and Surrey police authorities, a number of London Boroughs and City of Westminster Council.
In Bury St Edmunds, Architect Paul Darlow is promoted to Assistant Director reporting to Ed Dale, East Anglian Regional Director. Paul has worked in East Anglia for over 25 years, joining Pick Everard in 2007 as senior architect and his wide project experience includes master planning for West Suffolk College and frameworks in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
In Nottingham, Ian Brownlow is promoted to Assistant Director in the firm’s Building Services division. A mechanical engineer and qualified Low Carbon Consultant, Ian joined the firm in 2008 to establish and manage the Nottingham office. An interview panellist for the Institute of Mechanical Engineers since 1994, Ian has over 30 years experience in the food industry, working on major projects for Samworth Brothers, Geest, Kellogg, RF Brookes and Northern Foods and Moto. Recent projects include the construction of the new Northampton College and rebuilding the Amenity Building at Cherwell Valley for Moto.
