Two new appointments at Pick Everard 19 February 2007

Multi disciplinary architectural and engineering practice Pick Everard has appointed Chartered architect Andrew Brown as Associate. Andrew joined Pick Everard in October 2006, has worked with Norwest Holst and Hammerson on the new Shires car park and is currently senior architect for the new Leicester Grammar School.

A graduate of Canterbury College of Art, with a Diploma in Architecture from the University of Kingston Upon Thames, Andrew worked in Bradford for 10 years at Alan Eden, Michael Hellawell & Associates on projects for retailer Morrison’s Supermarkets and the Sue Ryder Foundation. At Derby-based Latham Architects projects in the education sector included a Life Long Learning Centre for Prospect Technology College in Reading and refurbishment at Repton School.

Nicola Thompson also joins Pick Everard as Business Improvement Manager, responsible for quality issues and business management systems. Nicola was formerly at Morgan Est and the East Midlands Centre for Constructing the Built Environment, has a research doctorate in business excellence from Loughborough University, is a Business Studies graduate, Fellow of the Institute of Quality Assurance and trainer for the European Foundation for Quality Management.
