Pick Everard has over thirty five years’ defence experience, advising UK and US military clients on military estates, buildings, facilities and infrastructure projects throughout the UK and overseas including the Falkland Islands, Bosnia, Croatia and Cyprus.

Our projects not only play a part in providing military capability, they also take account of the welfare of servicemen and women and their families.

Pick Everard’s expert multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, engineers and surveyors, have worked on a range of defence and military schemes from workshops, hangers, airfields and training centres to sports facilities, office spaces, headquarters buildings, accommodation and new housing.

Pick Everard designs brand new facilities as well as advising on alterations, extensions, maintenance and repair works. Many schemes involve designing more modern, flexible and energy efficient buildings and facilities.

Our experience ranges from initial feasibility studies, auditing and reviewing the management of defence and military estate establishments and garrisons through to design and build, prime contracting and PFI or PPP projects.

For over ten years, Pick Everard commissions have included forensic investigations and a range of services within the MoD’s worldwide estate, covering almost every aspect of property management and the built environment; Managing Agent contracts, FM and M&E planned preventative maintenance, service delivery contracts through to reactive maintenance contracts including maximum target costs (MTC) and project works. This includes conducting DREAM (Defence Related Environmental Assessment Method) and DEEP (Design Excellence Evaluation Process) reviews.
Our extensive knowledge of best practice is underpinned by value engineering, risk management and whole-life cost analysis.
