Joining Our Team

Working together

The practice is organised into close-knit design teams, each working on a range of specific projects. Employees are typically assigned to a team, led by a Partner and an Associate who are responsible for an individual's development. This approach offers the ideal balance - responsive small teams, supported by all the advantages of a larger organisation.

Project team members can use excellent technical libraries, tap into the knowledge of experts throughout the practice and are supported by the latest technology.

Learning & Development

We recognise the motivational importance of allowing staff to take an active role in their own career development and through our comprehensive staff development programme, actively encourage staff to take ownership of their careers.

As well as encouraging staff to pursue approved courses at local colleges, we provide training schemes approved by the professional institutions and will provide financial support to those who continue to study.

What's more, we have an information sharing area on our Intranet and have developed a body of discipline gurus to pass on the experience of our senior people to the rest of the team.

Benefits

Joining the Pick Everard team is not only a great career move that offers exceptional opportunities for further development. You'll also enjoy an attractive salary which is reviewed annually in October and a range of generous benefits. For example, everyone enjoys 26 days holiday each year and we operate a stakeholder money purchase pension scheme to which we will contribute up to 6% of your salary. We also offer private health insurance, life insurance and professional subscription allowance. Senior posts may also include a car and a discretionary bonus. Many of our staff take part in sports and social activities - we field teams for a number of local leagues and run internal competitions.

Our vision

To be recognised as a leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy practice in the built environment, and to be the consultant of choice for all stakeholders.
