Careers in Surveying

Our surveying skills cover five key fields:

  • Building surveying
  • Land surveying
  • Facilities management consultancy and auditing
  • Quantity surveying
  • Forensic auditing

We pride ourselves in keeping at the forefront of surveying and are quick to adopt new technology and methods, once proven, to improve the accuracy and efficiency of our work. For example. we recently undertook a measured survey of a large hospital complex using CAD drawings generated on-site using laser and blue-tooth technology.

Our clients are varied and include the DVLA, the National Grid and the Land Registry. We are well known for our work with historic buildings and we often work in consultation with English Heritage and other bodies connected with heritage. We also act as expert witnesses in connection with building disputes.

The Pick Everard culture is a supportive one. If you join us you'll find yourself working as part of a team on a wide range of projects from start to finish. This provides an opportunity for working with other surveyors as well as professionals from other disciplines.

We are passionate about encouraging everyone at Pick Everard to maximise their potential, so as well as offering on-going training and financial support for development activities, we have created a highly popular mentoring group to support individuals as they work towards achieving Chartered Status.
