Skills & Experience Required:

We are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Technician in our Bury St Edmunds office. The job holder will work on preparation of elemental design and drawings, including reinforcement drawings / schedules, and will also be required to take responsibility for smaller-, or parts of larger projects.

  The ideal candidate will have:

• Design office experience with a consultancy or contractor, working with architects and building services engineers 
• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience 
• Knowledge of RC detailing and scheduling to British Standards 
• Understanding of engineering/structural/civil drawings 
• Familiarity with British Standards/Codes of Practice
•  Knowledge of structural engineering modelling
•  Associate or Technician grade of IStructE or ICE – significant relevant design experience in lieu of formal academic qualification may be acceptable
