Skills & Experience Required:

Due to an increasing workload we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer at Intermediate level, with sound technical and design ability. 

You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to innovative and challenging projects and will take an active role from day one. The role would fit a loyal and career minded individual who is hungry to prove his/her engineering talents. Training and support towards becoming a chartered engineer will be provided, along with a realistic chance of progression within the firm.

The ideal candidate should have:

• HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 4 years UK postgraduate experience of mechanical building services design
• Experience of designing systems ie. domestic water services, ventilation, heating, cooling
• Ability to work with IES and cursory knowledge of AutoCAD and Hevacomp
• Ability to work at times unsupervised and show initiative and be proactive
• Good verbal communication skills, able to liaise with clients, contractors, manufacturers, fellow professionals
• Good written communication skills (report and letter writing)
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Knowledge of current legislation e.g. UK Building Regulations
• Site experience and ability to site survey
• Awareness of electrical services principles
• Knowledge of Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, EPC, Part L

Salary:
