Skills & Experience Required:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and self-motivated Building Services Mechanical Engineer to become part of our expanding team in Inverness.

You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to innovative and challenging projects in a variety of sectors, including education, healthcare, defense, commercial, utilities.

Required attributes:

  • Relevant HND/Degree or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3 years UK postgraduate experience of mechanical building services design (domestic water services-, ventilation-, heating- and cooling systems)
  • Ability to work with IES and knowledge of AutoCAD and Hevacomp
  • Knowledge of current legislation e.g. Scottish Building Regulations
  • Familiarity of Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, EPC, Section 6
  • Site experience and ability to site survey
  • Awareness of electrical services principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including report writing)

Salary:

We offer an attractive salary dependant on skills and experience; benefits include 26 days holiday plus statutory days, paid professional subscription, pension scheme with private healthcare, life assurance.
Relocation package would also be considered for the right candidate.
